Our mission is to ensure that people with intellectual, emotional, and physical disabilities have opportunities to actively participate in all aspects of everyday community life. Through the programs and services we offer, we will support them in achieving their goals through residential community living, guiding them in their personal growth, and assisting them in projects they’ve created solely in accordance with the community setting rules.
Who We Are
UniTrust Resources, Inc. is a provider of developmental disability care services in Maryland, offering support to adults with special needs. Our team advocates for providing opportunities to those who are developmentally, physically, emotionally, and psychologically challenged, giving them a chance to play an active role in the community since our inception in 2019.
Goals and Objectives
At UniTrust Resources, we provide career exploration facility-based and community-based services to small groups of individuals through a meaningful day support service model. Individuals will learn new skills in employment, socially-acceptable behaviors, effective communication, self-direction and problem solving, and safety practices. Day activities will include but are not limited to the individual’s engagement in activities in which skills can be used to do the type of work the individual is interested in, self-advocacy classes and activities, local community events, volunteering in a human service field of interest, and training and supports designed to maintain abilities and to prevent or slow loss of skills for a declining individual’s condition.
UniTrust Resources will aid individuals to develop and maintain skills related to community membership through engagement in community-based activities with people without disabilities.
